Itinerary:
Day 1 : Country of origin to Lima , stay at hotel.

Day 2 : Lima to Huaraz, the capital of Ancash department (3,090m) by bus (8 hours), stay at hotel.

Day 3 : Huaraz
Acclimatization walk to Wilkawain archeological site – descent to Monterrey . Recommended before the start of the trek.

Day 4 : Huaraz – Cashapampa -Llamacoral (3.850 m)
Leave Huaraz to Cashapampa (2.900 m), visiting on the way Campo Santo (Sacred field) of Yungay, town destroyed by the ice avalanche and landslide of May 31 st 1970 . We then reach Cashapampa where we load the donkeys with the gear and start walking to the first camping site at Llamacorral (3,900m).

Day 5 : Llamacorral - Taullipampa (4.200 m). .jpg)
This day is easy; the trail goes past the green lakes Jatuncocha and Ichicocha. We stop for lunch at a place called Quisuar, and then ascend to base camp of de Alpamayo. From this spectacular lookout point, we continue to next camp site, Taullipampa (4.200 m).

Day 6 : Taullipampa – Punta Unión - Huaripampa (3.900m)
Starting from Taullipampa we ascend gradually Union Pass (4.750 m). This pass offers a spectacular view of the summits of Artesonaraju, Paria, Pucahirca, Taulliraju, and Alpamayo. This last mountain won proclaimed the world's most beautiful mountain at the contest of Munich . We continue to de Paria Valley (3.900 m), and reach Huaripampa (3.600 m), in the valley with the same name, where we camp.

Day 7 : Huaripampa - Vaquería – Pacchapampa (4.300 m)
Starting from the camp site, we cross small settlements greeted by Andean kids. The trail continues to Vaqueria, from where we ascend to Pacchapampa cam site (4.300 m)

Day 8 : Pacchapampa – Portachuelo (4.765m) - Llanganuco (3.850 m).
After a good breakfast, we keep ascending to the pass of Portachuelo (4.767m), which offers a beautiful view of the summits of Huascaran Huandoy, Chopicalqui, Pisco and Chacraraju, as well as the Lakes Orconcocha y Chinancocha. From the pass we descend to a flat meadow in Cebollapampa valley, where we camp at 3.850m.

DAY 9 : Cebollapampa - Pisco base camp (4.200 m).
This is the starting point for the approach trek for climbing Pisco (5,762m), Huandoy (6,395m) and Chacraraju (6,112m). The base camp is reached in approximately 4 hours.

Day 10 : Early start ( 2-3 am ) for the summit climb. We cross a moraine and climb to the glacier tongue, and then to the col, which offers excellent views of summits of Cordillera Blanca. The route to the summit crosses a crevasse to reach the summit, where a 360º view around makes us forget the fatigue. Descent to base camp.

Day 11 : Descent from base camp to Cebollapampa where transportation will take us back to the hotel in Huaraz.

Day 12 : Huaraz, day in your own.

Day 13 : Huaraz - Musho – Huascaran base camp.
We leave Huaraz by road to Mancos (2.530 m) and then on a 20 km dirt road to the village of Musho , NE of Huaraz. This is the starting point for the approach trek to the base camp of Huascarán (4,100m).

Day 14 : From moraine camp climb to the glacier edge, and then towards the base crossing a few seracs. We reach camp 1 at 5,200m.

Day 15 : climb to camp 2 (6,000m), through the section called the channel, where we cross a few crevasses, and reach the “bottleneck”.

Day 16 : climb a couloir (65-70º) that reaches the upper part of the “bottleneck” (6.010m.), and then traversing a few gentle slopes, and reach the summit at 6,768m. Return to camp 2 or camp 1.

Day 18 : Musho to Huaraz with private transportation.

Day 20 : Lima , transfer to airport and flight to country of origin.
EXPEDITION COSTS INCLUDE:
